Coldwater, Michigan

Returning from St. Joe in Indiana I do a brief visit to Coldwater. Indiana Northeastern runs a shortline through this small town from where the Little River Railroad runs museum train excoursions.

Indeed! THe cars of the museum train are standing at the Coldwater station - in front is a heavyweight combine and behind a WW2 troop transporter.

From the other side you can see also two cattle cars, equipped with seats and at the end a caboose.

A bit away these two streamliner cars are sitting in the siding. The locomotive shed must be somewhere else.

The old grain elevator has a kind of oriental look.

Just with the colour red left, this picture is closing this day's report.
