Diamond in Butler, Indiana

Eastward of Waterloo, IN, Butler is located. A bit remote to the town center a busy diamont is placed - two NS line are crossing here!

A view to the north, the NS line from Fort Wayne to Detroit. To the west the line goes to Chicago, the eastern line leads to Toledo.

My first train comes westbound but runs then southwards. It is not easy to have a good foto shooting position as you never know from where to where the trains are running.

NS 9772 (Dash9-40CW) and NS 7622 (ES40DC) are coming westwards too, but this time the train is crossing the diamond.

"Out of the woods": BNSF 5738 (ES44AC) and two SD70MC (9680 and 9421) in BN Colours are leading a coal train eastwards.
