Diamonds are Railfans best friends - Tour 2007

In 2007 I was in USA two times, end of May and next time end of June. Besides business I found some time, mainly in the evening and at the weekend for some railfanning.

This year I had done some pre-planning to find interesting foto locations in southern Michigan and northern Indiana. Especially several of the so-called diamonds, crossings of two rail lines on the same level, were included in the plan. Also visits to some shortlines. This year I also wanted to see more colours the CN and Amtrak. One of my first action at the first visit was the purchase of a scanner to be prepared when a train is coming.
